Gazelles and the Mara Triangle

from $550.00

Gazelles and the Mara Triangle was captured on the Maasai Mara National Reserve in southwestern Kenya in late February 2020. Here, three gazelles graze together near a small herd of zebras (out of frame). Gazelles exhibit a special behavior when they are threatened by predators called stotting. They spring into the air, lifting all of their feet off the ground simultaneously. Zebras will often graze near gazelles so they can benefit from this clear warning sign of danger.
