Desert Date

Desert Date was captured on the Maasai Mara National Reserve in southwestern Kenya in late February 2020. It’s estimated that fewer than 25,000 lions remain in Africa, classifying them as a vulnerable species. Here, a male lion roams alone pausing alongside a Maasai Mara tree, also called a Desert Date tree.

This photograph is limited to a 20 print run in each available size and is printed on Canson Infinity Photo Lustre Premium RC 310 GSM archival paper, designed to meet the highest lifespan requirements.
